Create your own ceramic butterfly to hang on in your home
Service Description
Join us at the Flint and Gaia studio for a relaxing couple of hours where you will create your own ceramic butterfly or moth wall hanging from scratch. Guided by your host Scarlett, you will be given the knowledge, materials and tools to mindfully create a beautiful butterfly or moth wallhanging from scratch. Use coloured underglazes and sgraffito to decorate freestyle, or use the templates based on native British butterflies provided. Once your pieces have been glazed, fired and hung on twine. They will then be ready to collect in around 2-3 weeks. (Can be posted for £5) During your experience, you can help yourself the to soft drinks and snacks provided or feel free to bring your own too! Workshops are kept at a maximum of 8 people to make for a nice intimate and fun session. What's included: 1 engraved butterfly or moth Soft drinks and snacks 2.5 hours of full tuition from a professional potter Free collection or the option to have your pieces posted for £5. This workshop is suitable for the ages 13+ due to skill level. All of those aged 16 and below need to be accompanied by a paying adult.

Cancellation Policy
Under 16s must by accompanied by a paying adult. Individual Bookings Your booking fee secures your place – we cannot reserve places without full payment. If we cancel or alter the session, a full refund or the option to rearrange will be offered. Group bookings Full payment is required on booking. Group bookings are for a maximum of 8 participants. Due to space, no more than this will be permitted. Individual places on a group booking will not be refunded. If a member of your party can no longer attend, it will be up to you to fill this space or pay the ticket of the missing party member. If we cancel or alter the session, a full refund or the option to rearrange will be offered. If you cancel your booking less than one month before the class, the entire booking cost still applies. No refunds will be given.
