Have you made your own pottery before or have your own studio? Join us at the Flint and Gaia studio for our 6 week level 2 pottery throwing course! Under guidance from Sean our master potter, over 6 weeks you will learn and improve the skill of pottery you already have. Who is it for? Suitable for people have done pottery before to amateurs trying to improve in a relaxing, mindful environment. These intimate sessions have a maximum of 3 people so are a peaceful environment to help you get in the zone to develop your skills in a way that you can relax. This is NOT a beginners course - this is for people who have done our Level 1 course or are confident in the basics of pottery throwing. What will I learn? During the 1.5 hour session each week, you will build up your skills in throwing, trimming and glazing. From centering, opening out, pulling up and shaping. You will be able to create pots of your choice, with full tuition from a master potter, offering different techniques to help you find your rhythm and give you the freedom to craft intuitively and mindfully. Each lesson will be catered to your skills and a personal lesson plan will be created for your next session. What’s included? Your ticket includes 1.5 hours of full tuition from a professional potter each week, use of facilities and tools. If you'd like to fire and glaze any of your pots, this is £10 per pot. When will I be able to collect my pieces? Your pieces will be fired and glazed and will be ready for you to collect between 6-8 weeks after the end of your course. Your pieces can be posted at an extra charge. All sessions are committed to at the time of booking. 6 weekly sessions at the same time each week. Our 6 week course is structured in a progressive way, with each lesson building upon the previous one. Unfortunately, we don't have spare places on our courses, so it's not possible to reschedule a missed lesson to another date. Dates on this course to be committed to:

Cancellation Policy
Individual Bookings Your booking fee secures your place – we cannot reserve places without full payment. If we cancel or alter the session, a full refund or the option to rearrange will be offered. Group bookings Full payment is required on booking. Group bookings are for a maximum of 8 participants. Due to space, no more than this will be permitted. Individual places on a group booking will not be refunded. If a member of your party can no longer attend, it will be up to you to fill this space or pay the ticket of the missing party member. If we cancel or alter the session, a full refund or the option to rearrange will be offered. If you cancel your booking less than one month before the class, the entire booking cost still applies. No refunds will be given.
