Child’s Pottery Throwing Lesson
Service Description
Bring your children to try something new, creative and fun this summer holiday! Starting with a demonstration by Scarlett, your child will then hop onto the wheel to try it for themself under Scarlett’s guidance! During this 30 minute session, they will have the opportunity to make one pot, which will then be finished and glazed in a transparent glaze ready to be collected in 6-8 weeks. Pottery is a great way for individuals to explore emotions, manage stress and foster self awareness. The tactile experience of working with clay helps to ground and calm. Pottery throwing sessions are kept to a maximum of 2 throwers, keeping the session intimate and a great environment to focus. We are mindful that trying something new can be nerve wracking, so we work our hardest to create a calm and nurturing environment. This session is for children between the ages of 8 and 16. Child must be accompanied by at least one adult spectator (no more than two spectators will be allowed into the studio due to studio space) If you’d like a pottery session as an adult, or a private session with a child and an adult please book our Beginners Pottery Throwing Lessons. Please be aware that unless two tickets are purchased, there may be one other child and spectators in the session at the same time as you.

Cancellation Policy
Individual Bookings Your booking fee secures your place – we cannot reserve places without full payment. You have 14 days to cancel or change your booking. After this time, no refunds will be offered but bookings can be amended up to 28 days prior to your booking. After this time, no refunds or amendments are permitted. If we cancel or alter the session, a full refund or the option to rearrange will be offered. Group bookings To secure your booking a non-refundable 50% deposit is required. The remaining balance must be paid at least one month before the event takes place. Group bookings are for a maximum of 8 participants. Due to space, no more than this will be permitted. Individual places on a group booking will not be refunded. If a member of your party can no longer attend, it will be up to you to fill this space or pay the ticket of the missing party member. If we cancel or alter the session, a full refund or the option to rearrange will be offered. If you cancel your booking less than one month before the class, the entire booking cost still applies. No refunds will be given.
